BuildLog is provided by Mallang Studios (Chaewon Kim). taezpark.com is a separate promotional site and is not the seller of the app. This document describes the current BuildLog app. It is not legal advice.

By downloading, installing, or using BuildLog (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. What the App Does

BuildLog is a general-purpose personal tool that lets you:

• Scan and store photos of model-kit guidebooks and box art that you own.
• Organize pages into sections, track build progress, and bookmark a page.
• Translate text that is visible on a scanned page on your device.
• Keep a wishlist, compare purchase candidates, and browse shops in Safari or Maps.
• Photograph finished work and prepare images to share yourself.

The App is a neutral utility, comparable to a document scanner or translation tool. It does not provide, host, or distribute any third-party guidebook content. The App ships empty; all content is created by you from materials you own.

2. Your Responsibilities and Permitted Use

You agree that:

• You will use the App only with guidebooks, manuals, and images that you own or are otherwise authorized to copy for personal use.
• You will use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
• You will not publicly share, publish, redistribute, sell, or otherwise distribute copyrighted guidebook content processed with the App.
• You are solely responsible for the content you scan, import, store, and process, and for ensuring your use complies with applicable copyright and other laws in your jurisdiction.

Copyright in guidebooks and manuals belongs to their respective publishers and rights holders. Nothing in the App transfers any rights in that content to you. The App does not grant you any rights to third-party content.

Sharing a finished-work photo that you took is your choice. That is not a licence to redistribute a publisher's instruction manual.

3. Translation

Translation runs on your device using Apple frameworks. Nothing is sent to us for translation. Output may be inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing it. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or fitness of any translation.

4. Your Data and Backups

• Library data is stored on your device and, if you are signed in to iCloud, synced through your personal iCloud account.
• Your profile name and photo stay on this device and are not yet included in backups or iCloud.
• The App provides manual and optional automatic local backups. You are responsible for keeping your own backups. We are not responsible for any loss of data.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App to infringe any intellectual property or other rights.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except to the extent permitted by law.
• Use the App to build or distribute a shared or public repository of third-party guidebook content.

6. Third-Party Services

The App may rely on Apple services (iCloud, Maps, Safari, Translation, Vision) and on websites you open. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

7. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT TRANSLATION RESULTS WILL BE ACCURATE.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR USD 50, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your content or your misuse of the App, including any claim that your scanned or processed content infringes a third party's rights.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App or its features if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, and Indemnification) will survive.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the effective date and, where appropriate, by an in-app notice. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.
